It sounds like you had a truly wonderful 17th of May celebration, despite the unexpected warmth! Boiling in a wool bunad must have been quite an experience, but it's lovely to hear that it was a very enjoyable day. The Hardangerbunad is absolutely stunning, and it's incredible to think of the craftsmanship and cost involved in such a beautiful, handmade piece with all that silver. It's fantastic that bunads are so popular and cherished there.
