The third Sunday in Advent How are you?
Here with us everything is fine.
We bake, light candles and do everything well for Christmas Eve.
We do not go out shopping like before but it is actually nice
to get rid of all the Christmas stress. Save money too

Vi baker, tenner lys og gjør alt fint til julaften.
Vi går ikke ut og shopper som før men det er faktisk fint å slippe alt julestresset.

Yesterday was the darkest day of the year.
But now it is turning to brighter times.
It will be good to get sunshine and warmth
I går var den mørkeste dagen i året.
Men nå snur det mot lysere tider dere.Det skal bli godt å få solskinn og varme
Det er kaldt og oppholdsvær Bergen.Ingen regn.

Yes that movie had I seen also. Hope you have a nice Christmas. We are only allowed to invite three guests. That didn't stop me to test already some dishes for the coming meal and they tasted very good. Hope we all stay healthy.

SlettWe hope for the vaccine Iam told not to because I am allergic.I dont know i think i will take it despite I already have had the mutanted form.It (The vaccine)last only for 3 months and you still can infect others.Well to much shit is said but i think the covid vaccine we must take!

Your photographs, as always, Anita, convey wonderfully what it looks like where you live. Life continues normally for us. We are so used to dealing with COVID now, that almost seems normal too. But the first vaccines are supposed to arrive in Canada today, so perhaps actual vaccinations will get underway this week. There is light at the end of what has so far been a long tunnel! Stay well.

SlettYour photographs are extraordinary from my viewpoint, Anita. My preference is for the third one -- of the city at night with all the lights -- although the first one ordinarily would get my vote because it is 99.9 percent Nature and the sunset is absolutely magnificent with its uniform structure. It seems almost like a painting.
SvarSlettThe holiday season seems very much the norm in my neighborhood in the sense that nothing really is any different visually than it has been every Christmas season since I arrived here. Children continue to roam and play in the street. The primary difference seems to be more people out and about walking or jogging or biking.

Wow!Mr Spock!!i had to google him Spock is a fictional character in the Star Trek media franchise!i have never seen the serie but many times thought about looking at it.Is there many out running and walking Wow!But I think it is nice they behave as usual as long as the one meter is followed!Very difficult that one meter!!

Beyond the various television series, there are a number of Star Trek films, Anita. My favorite among them is "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home." In it, Captain James Kirk (by then an admiral) and his crew travel back in time to San Francisco in 1986 to retrieve some humpback whales, extinct in Kirk's time, the only creatures which can communicate with the aliens out to destroy the entire planet Earth. The movie is a nice blend of humor (especially in Spock's use of the English language) and seriousness, involves time travel and has a happy ending. Sort of near perfect escapism entertainment, to my way of thinking.
SlettIn reference to Coronavirus, I was writing specifically of the neighborhood where I live. I personally know people who have had it and "recovered," and a couple who have died from it. Minnesota alone currently has about 5,000 deaths attributed to it and masks are required anywhere in public places. The havoc it is creating cannot be overly estimated.
Yes, walking, jogging and biking are big time here and especially so during these days. Incidentally, I rarely see anyone doing these things wearing a mask, but almost always "social distancing" is evident. There are no sidewalks in the immediate area and very little vehicle traffic, so people are walking down the middle of the street.

SlettWe always were mask now.And disinfects our hands every where out side ,specially at the mall.Securitas,security company, they are waching us and are all around in the shops to make us avare and not forget the one meter and only ten persons are admitted to be there.Some of the young has had party and they had to pay 30 000 kr each for breaking the rules of only 5 people in the home.I quess there is spies every where heh heh people dont have anything else to do but watching their neighbor.Of course me too.
I will take a look at that episode of Star Trek!I have it on Netflix!

SlettIn answer to your question about the Corona vaccine, all went well apart from a few who showed an allergic reaction but these were all people who had had other allergic reactions in the past and who carried EpiPens. Vaccinations continue for older people and those who work closely with them.

SvarSlettEveryone down here is doing normal things which is permitted, but I don't do Christmas shopping, just give money and let my sons buy Christmas presents on my husband and my behalf - takes the rush out of everything.

Hei ja jeg forstår!!Jeg har også vært litt uheldig med mine store innkjøp-Jeg kjøpte en Nikon d7500 men ble ikke fornøyd.20 mega pixler merkes godt.Får å få ett brukt Nikon D7200 som jeg likte godt (de har sluttet å selge det kamera )må jeg ut med kr 8000 tusen!!Nei og atter nei det gidder jeg ikke så jeg får bruke det nye kamera og vente til Nikon D850 faller i pris.Har og kjøpt meg en ny linse.Men de har enda ikke sendt det fra lageret i Oslo så jeg får det ikke før etter jul Sukk.Jaja man får være glad for det en har.Ja ta turen du med din kone.Har noen flere bilder fra Ulriken jeg skal legge ut om ikke så lenge.Håper dere har det fint.Ja tvi tvi håper du får din nye reser av en Laptop!!
